At SVCC, we offer Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) for individuals who have completed a law enforcement academy, Department of Corrections training academy, or who are certified jail officers. CPL allows eligible students to receive college credit for prior professional training and experience, helping to reduce both the time and cost required to complete their degree.
